Language: Apart from Hausa, which they speak as trade language, the Adaras have nine different dialects.

Occupation: Peasant farming

Where We Are at Present: Rimou District in Kajuru LGA

Religion: African Traditional Religion, Christopaganism (Syncretism). Roman Catholic is the dominant church in this area, with Baptist churches without pastors. Islam is gradually spreading among this tribe.

Major Strongholds: Witchcraft activity, drunkenness, Idolatry, sexual immorality.

MCM Vision/Target:

• To embark on contextualized evangelism that would lead to the emergence of strong and vibrant churches in the area.
                   

• To raise disciples who would be entrusted with the task of evangelizing their people in the nearest future.
                   

In achieving 1 & 2 above, we would apply the holistic approach, i.e., meeting the people’s felt needs as we identify them so that the total man-spirit, soul & body would be reached.
